We are a local lodge of the Vasa Order of America, a Fraternal Society originally established for the benefit of Swedish immigrants a century ago, but now dedicated to preserving and sharing our Nordic culture and heritage.

What We Do

Preserve our Heritage

Through cultural presentations and celebrating Midsommar, Kräftskiva and St. Lucia Day, we preserve our cultural ties to the Nordic countries of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

Create Community

With nine meetings, three holiday celebrations and monthly luncheons each year, we provide many opportunities for social interaction and the cultivation of friendships between members.

Share our Culture

We participate in a variety of events each year, representing and sharing Nordic culture, including marching in the Indy 500 parade and having a booth at the International Festival.
