This years' Kräftskiva, or Crayfish Fest, was a huge success. 35 members and friends gathered to enjoy great conversations, food, and drink (coffee, water and aquavit).
At a midway point, Judy McBride gave us an historic account of what Kräftskiva means. Sweden was listed as the country that consumes the largest amount of crayfish. Louisiana was third!
A big thank you to all who brought dishes to supplement the meatballs, herring and crayfish. Also thank you to all who helped in the kitchen before and after the event.
We hope to see you next year! Be sure to visit "Scandinavians in Indianapolis" on Facebook for an album of photos showcasing this years' successful event.
