At our March meeting on Sunday, March 5, we had an excellent presentation about Tall Timber Architecture from Glenn Sweitzer! We learned about the different types of tall engineered timber buildings in Nordic countries, precedents such as log towers and railroad bridges, and managed forests, which are critical to a sustainable supply of timber.
We also enjoyed a delicious and cozy Fika with the theme of "Into the Woods!" Thanks to everyone who attended!
