The Swedish Nyckelharpa

We had a great meeting on Sunday! This was our last regular meeting until September 13 due to the summer break. (Although don't forget to join us for Midsommar on June 28 and Kraftskiva on August 3!)

We initiated a new member - welcome, Kate!! We then heard a beautiful and impassioned program about the Nyckelharpa from member Annette Johansson. We are currently raising money to buy our lodge's activity club Skandilocity a Nyckelharpa - if you are interested in donating, email Ulla! Lastly we enjoyed a delicious fika.

Sveaskolan, our children's club, met to practice their Midsommar songs and dances, study Swedish, and decorate our farewell bags for the upcoming convention.
